A portable and robust water filtration solution.
Designed and developed with International NGO, Oxfam, the LifeSaver Cube delivers clean water for individuals, families, groups and communities on the move. It is the ideal clean water solution for emergency preparedness, small enough to be transported, stored in a vehicle or used as a water filter in the home. The LifeSaver Cube was designed to store and carry dirty water. We recommend storing dirty water, either in the cube or in other storage containers, and filtering through the cube as and when clean water is required, to prevent recontamination of previously filtered water.
This cartridge filters 5,000 litres/1,320 US gallons of water.

When the FailSafe technology indicates that your LifeSaver Cube needs a new filter Cartridge, replacing it is quick and easy. Our replacement cartridges will ensure your Cube continues to deliver clean, safe drinking water whenever you need it. We also offer a Foil Sealed version that can be safely stored for ten years - keeping your ready for any eventuality.

LifeSaver Cube Filter Cartridge Specification

The LifeSaver Cube cartridge is a microbiological water filter that uses ultra filtration technology to filter out viruses, bacteria, cysts and parasites from contaminated water sources. LifeSaver technology filters out bacteria to a minimum of Log 6 (99.9999%), viruses to a minimum of Log 4 (99.99%) and cysts to a minimum of Log 3 (99.9%) as specified by NSF Protocol 231, based on recommendations of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

One down side

One down side. The tap seems poorly placed though this can be sorted by attaching a tube to the spout.

Thank you for leaving a 5-star review. If you've bought it for an emergency then we hope you never need to use it! But the Cube is the perfect size for camping or fishing trips, so why not go exploring? Once primed, if stored correctly, the Cube can stay on stand-by indefinitely.

Lifesaver cube.

Well let me start by saying this is a top quality peace of kit a must have if your outdoors, Firstly I must have gotten one with a dodgy tap on is as mine would not lock on to do hands free filling. I got in touch with lifesaver I sent them a video of the defective tap & they sent me a replacement straight away. Pros. Great product , you can tell by your kettle in the house as to what it leaves behind, I haven't hade to de-scale my kettle for months. The cons. This is expensive for what it is but, you get what you pay for & let's not forget they're made here in the UK. Expensive but worth every penny in my opinion.

Not watertight, leaks through taps

Good strong feel. Shame about the tap leaking pretty much the whole time through the head. Any solutions?

Great for campervan

We have limited space in the campervan and I wasn't sure about the quality of the drinking water on some sites after reading reviews, so the cube gives us peace of mind. Easy to use, easy to setup, pure drinking water.

Fantastic quality...

Quality: according to the manufacturer's published specifications, this is a top-of-the-range filter cartridge.
In fact, we trust it because we don't have a laboratory to check the purity of the water produced by the filter.
We have used several units, and so far no health problems have been detected.
Value for money: fairly expensive, especially if you add shipping costs, customs duties and taxes.
The flow speed decreases considerably when the water to be filtered is dirty, which reduces the lifespan, and there is no way of cleaning the cartridge.

Sprung a leak on seam

*Update LifeSaver replaced the tank with excellent customer service* I was very pleased with the LifeSaver Cube, until it started to leak on a seam on the bottom. This cube is only a fews months old and has had an easy life, not dropped of banged so very disappointed in what must be a manufacturing fault? In Africa at present, so cannot return the casing.

Love my cube and the filters work out value for money! Save plastic as not buying bottle water! The taste of filter water is so much better than the tap water

A most excellent product, great quality

A most excellent product, great quality.

Although when in use in a civilian city, I would prefer to buy the Lifesaver Pouch in the colour Black, and DDPM ( Desert ) is not to a diplomatic colour to wear, for Force Protection security reasons.

I originally bought a Black version, but these rare black Lifesaver pouches do not seem to be available now.

Please Lifesaver, could you please reproduce the Black Cordura versions of the Lifesaver Bottle Pouch again please.

The charcoal filters made a huge difference. I've been using my jerry can for a year everyday and used it in some very dirty water,never got sick.
